New Prague’s Woodrow Glazer followed up his 2019 MN State Clay Target Championship with a National Championship at the recent 2019 USA Clay Target League National Championships in Mason, Michigan.
Glazer finished with a perfect 200 score after hitting 100 out of 100 shots in both days of competition and finishing first in a field of over 1600 competitors from around the country.
Glazer and his four teammates were five of 275 Minnesota kids making up 55 teams from Minnesota competing in the two-day National Championship.
New Prague State Championship team finished 8th overall the National Competition, however another team from Minnesota also won the Team Championship, Roseau HS, with a two-day team score of 964 out of 1,000 targets.
Other local teams the competed include: Lakeville South (7), Jordan (40), Tri-City United (42), St. Peter (44), Le Sueur-Henderson (54), Norwood-Young America (58), Farmington (61) and Prior Lake (76)
